Weber products are always good. I bought another of these

at a local store and they work very well, but best with the

St Louis trimmed style ribs. The full racks come over too far

and will limit your load to 2 rack at a time without touching.



The trimmed ones are best anyway and use the trimmings for tasters.



Not bad to clean and the finish comes right back each time.

This rack works well. Using indirect heat, a drip pan with a little water in it to catch the grease and create a little moisture and you are set to go! The rack holds more than you think it will hold. Can be used for chicken breasts, quarters, etc. also. I spray my racks with a little olive oil before I put everything on the grill...this helps with the clean up....makes that job allot easier.

These flavorizer bars are the third set I have put in my grill - and hope it will be the last - they look and work great... the only difference is when juice drips onto these they make a cool ping sound where as the coated ones didn't.

These are not cheap, but they are very heavy and will last a long time.



A little tip - while replacing my old ones, I noticed that only one was really worn, the other four were in good shape; so rotating the most worn bar to a different position (before significant wear) would enable the set to last longer.

We used these Charcoal Holders in our new Weber grill and they worked great!! These do do a good job for indirect cooking. As at least one other reviewer mentioned, push them together and you get a really good sear too. For thick steaks, I'll put these side by side and sear the steak on both sides. Then I put the holders on opposite sides of the kettle and finish the steaks indirect. That works very well. The baskets are decent quality. They look like they will last for a good while. I think these are a very good purchase for Weber users.

Got these for a used Performer I picked up recently. I see why they are included with Webers top of the line grill. They are a great addition to the kettle and help keep things easy when grilling indirect. They seem to be well built and should last several years. Glad I bought them.

I have the smokenator for really slow indirect cooking with little coal. Incredible ribs and pork shoulder. When not using the smokenator and just a few of us, I put the basket on the other side. It is easier to stack up coal on the side for medium and high grilling surface and smaller lump coal will not fall to the bottom as easily. This is a great product. If I do not have the smokenator, will use it for indirect grilling also. This is a great product.

The Weber Silver One-Touch Grill is a great product. I have owned the grill for five years with no problems. The ash catcher can be annoying in breezy or windy days as ash does pretty much go everywhere. It is very simple to regulate the heat and control the burn. I would definately recommend getting the charcoal starter chimney for fast and easy lighting of the charcoal. Although the legs and wheels may not seem very substantial, they have held up admirably thus far. Cooking with charcoal may be more work and a bit messy (ashes), but the flavor is second to none! I would recommend a charcoal grill for anyone who has not grilled much before since its hard to really ruin a piece of meat....seems many novices go crazy with their gas grills and overcook/burn just about everything.

First the good. I love the looks of this grill. It is sleek, styling and iconic and I enjoy seeing it on my porch.

- It is much more attractive than one of those monstrous gas grills.

- It seals very tightly.

- Its simple style allows you to cook many different meats in many different ways.

- There are so many accessories available for it and they are easy to find.





Now the bad. Besides the black metal kettle part, everything else seems to be of terribly cheap quality and not what I would expect in this price range.

- The legs and bottom frame are made of shockingly thin and weak metal. I wouldn't buy my kids toys with such cheap trashy metal.

- The wheels are made of cheap hard hollow one-sided plastic. Again, I would not buy a children's toy with such cheap wheels.

- The side handle melted during the first use when we hung the lid from it while cooking.



Let's face it. This is a lot of money for a basic charcoal grill. You are paying for quality and looks. I gave it four stars only on the merit that there simply isn't a viable competitor right now. If there were other options it would not have fared so well. I feel like Weber has taken advantage of their good name and market share and is allowing their quality to suffer.



Shockingly, I would buy it again.

Grill was damaged when received, one of the legs had been bent in the box. The rack itself is sturdy and works as advertised. However, I never use it because when you put vegetables directly in the basket, the juices get burned on from the grill. It's impossible to clean. I gave it away. When I tried putting aluminum foil in the basket, I ended up just steaming the vegetables, not really grilling it. The quality of the basket is good; it's just not practical because of the clean-up.

I just take some rough-chopped veggies like green beans, red bell pepper, onion, shallots and garlic and toss them in oil, salt and pepper and throw them in the basket on the grill. They come out great. Don't obsess about keeping the thing looking like new. Treat it like a seasoned, cast-iron frying pan. It will darken with age but over time things won't stick to the seasoned surface. Just give it a good wash and the heat of the grill will take care of the rest.
