This sturdy pan was well designed, with 1/8-inch slits rather than holes, so that even chopped onion pieces didn't fall through. Its four raised sides kept food on the pan when we stirred; raised handles helped us lift it off the grill easily with heavy mitts. Good heat retention meant good browning.

Not only is this pan attractive and easy to clean, but has served me well in vegetable grilling.
Other pans I have had are poorly constructed and often the vegetables, shrimp and other small "foodstuffs" tended to fall through the wide mesh.
I am very happy with this purchase and use it often.

I learned about this grill pan from the Cook's Illustrated magazine, where it was rated No. 1 in a grill pan survey; so since my wife gave me a Weber grill as a birthday gift an I am so please with Weber, even though is so expensive, I purchased my Weber grill pan as well. An I am very Happy, let me tell you. It is quite more expensive than other brands, but works perfect and it is very easy to clean. It has low high end borders that allow the food to grill without steaming (higher ends keep steam inside the pan, making the food mushy), it is easy to handle and definitively avoids the smaller and thiner pieces (mushrooms, shrimps, sparragus and other veggies) to go down the grill while they cook perfectly. It is good as well to cook at indirect flame or rest your meet after cooking. Definetively a must have for barbequers. Enjoy.

I had been having a terrible time with losing veggies through our grill grates, and this pan has solved the problem. Simple, sturdy, cleans up pretty well. If you need one, just buy this. It's perfect.
