I received this product in a timely manner and installed it in just a couple of minutes. It replaced an old igniter that had failed after 9 years and was part of a complete overhaul of my Weber bbq. Just like new. Weber makes great products.

I didn't see it anywhere when I ordered, but the igniter included is for Weber models older than 2002. Since mine is 2002 model, it's the wrong one. I know, I should have read the small print on the box before I tried to install it, but I didn't.

The igniter on my Genesis Silver A grill hadn't been working for years and I finally got around to fixing it. It's easy to do, especially if you are overhauling other parts of your grill. There is a bit of labor required in taking apart the area with the ignition and burner controls but once you have that done, installation of the new igniter is a snap! This is genuine Weber part and was cheaper than buying direct from Weber.
